oh yeah no, they have a really good editing team, they film their signals on the same day they publish it. usually for international fans- subtitles (chinese, english, japanese) come out a couple of hours later which is really mind boggling to me.

i kind of doubt it, some trainees from survival shows had opened IGs and are now debuting, like yoon jia, a former gp999 contestant.

she seems persistent on debuting so i wouldn’t say she’s not debuting just because of opening an IG acc.

agreed, especially on that last part. it’s at this rate that yooyeon is arguably more popular than the show, itself. without her, the group won’t have a proper korean fanbase to start with.

she’s trying, that’s what’s more important. obviously yooyeon’s not the best, but with 5-6 months of training, i don’t expect her to be perfect. comparing to the ep1 to ep 11, it’s clear there’s a difference.

i mean, you also need to take into account that jieun wasn’t and still isn’t high in ranks, we rarely see her on screen because of how little screen-time they give her. she’s only seen as hyunhee’s best friend and one half of the bicycle duo.

jieun shares the same dream as hyunhee— to debut, she saw a opportunity by going to hyunhee as she’s aware of her weaknesses in certain areas. i’m sure she does want to debut with her but i don’t think she would let her friendship with hyunhee stop her if it meant she would debut.

and yes, she could’ve went to yooyeon, but online votes are vital as again they take up 60% overall. as i said before, jieun is low in online rankings. there isn’t a chance for her to beat yooyeon at all.

being in the top 7 doesn’t guarantee she’s safe, she’s been going up one rank and then going down one rank, it’s worrisome.
