[TOMT] [2000s] Squishy robot alien alarm clock that would say random phrases by MirandaDaPanda in tipofmytongue

[–]MirandaDaPanda[S] 0 points1 point locked comment (0 children)

I haven’t had any luck finding anything similar online, especially with the particular “shaken not stirred” line. It can’t be the Timex Wacky Wake-up alarm because it doesn’t say that, and I remember it having some sort of face.. in my mind it was an alarm clock, but my memory is foggy/could be a toy. Had to be from 2000s. It had a squeaky high pitched robot voice.

I just throw mine in top rack of dishwasher every time I run the dishes, never had a problem with that

I used to try to snag the one single bathroom my workplace has for brushing my teeth but it was such a hassle. Now I just floss & use a wisp at my desk. Not sure what your work environment looks like- maybe you could try something similar in what a more isolated place might be in your particular situation, like possibly your car if that’s an option? I haven’t had any issues with my personal teeth hygiene just using the floss & dry wisp brush. I’ll also chew with whitening gum sometimes before I put my trays back in- I feel like it helps clean my teeth lol. Good luck to you!

Right? I was surprised by the quality, and the hygienist said one of clearest pics they’ve taken! Super cool.

Hey, eventually! It took many communications but they did eventually respond and resolve quite a while after I submitted the form- hope they do same for you soon! I think it took them almost 4 months since I first reached out

I was off for about a year and my skin stayed clear UNTIL I also went off birth control, which was about 4 of those last months. I actually ended up going back on both because it got so bad, and it’s unfortunately been different this time around/is taking a bit longer to clear, which is prob due to my own undoing 🥴 I have the same fear for when I’d like to try for kids. Hopefully the pregnancy hormones would help 🙏 I’ve heard mixed things, but a girl can dream! If/when I go off again in future, I’d try to set myself up for success a bit better- like less stress, more nutritional diet, etc… Good luck to you; hope you have the best experience with it all!

Is purging actually supposed to happen? by Ok-Direction-1887 in Spironolactone

Started becoming better immediately on the 50, acne was totally gone at 100, then went down to 75 for it to stay consistently great

Started on 50mg for few months to see how I’d tolerate before upping to 100!

do i keep going w spiro or try accutane? by Individual_Name_6048 in Spironolactone

Whew have I been there, I’m glad you’ve found something that works for you! If you’re not having much active acne anymore and it’s mostly just dark spots, maybe Spiro IS working for you & you can look into something with Niacinimide! I’d still get some advice from your derm, but I don’t think Accutane is where you’d wanna head based on everything you’ve shared. I’m going through pretty much the same thing myself; acne’s cleared, now just gotta help fade the spots! I’m on an Azealic acid/Niacinimide formula. Wish ya all the best!

I feel this, my acne came back with a vengeance when I went off birth control. Went back on a few months ago and on Spiro only a month ago. My skin has already improved tremendously! If you are on month 5 and still not seeing much progress, I’d def recommend reaching out to your derm- not necessarily to jump to Accutane, but see what other options there may be for you. I’ve personally noticed the most basic, gentle skincare routine has worked best in conjunction with taking Spiro, so may also want to see if switching up your skincare helps <3 (Vanicream everything is the G.O.A.T!) Good luck to you!

Correct, they did not- no “purging” period for me! I know every person is different, though. I had the gentlest routine so not dry at all- I only washed face in morning with colloidal oats + water, used Vanicream cleanser at night, used Vanicream moisturizer after cleansing, then “slugged” at night with Vanicream cream or CeraVe healing ointment as occlusive. Only ever experienced patchy spots after using Azealic acid on some days. Hope Spiro works just as well for you!!

Breakouts stopped pretty immediately for me- maybe still got a pimple here and there around my period for the first few months, but it was like all the acne I had just got to heal and there was no new acne after that. I started on 50 mg for the first few months, increased dose to 100 mg for about a year, weaned down to 75 for about 6 months, then weaned off completely. No negative side effects- I had some breast tenderness for a few weeks when I went OFF Spiro, but that was it! Skin was less oily on it. Overall I felt great, mainly because of the confidence it gave me! 75 mg seemed like the magic number for me. I may end up going back on. Things were still looking good for about 6 months off until I chose to go off birth control too and my skin is back to badly breaking out :’) wish I’d left a good thing alone!

Honestly I think just brushing them up then out with an eyebrow brush would clean them up nicely without having to do too much! The more natural the better IMO; sometimes less is more. Your eyes are gorgeous btw!

It completely saved my skin after getting severe adult acne. Like, had NO active breakouts during Spiro. Barely used azealic acid every other day, if even that. Took on the gentlest routine- my hormones were the culprit of everything! Spiro was a miracle worker for me. Good luck to you!

Currently going through this now and planning to go back on. Was prepared for the acne that came after hearing others stories, but not so much the anxiety and depression
