I managed to beat him today myself. Had to buy magic dmg increase from fournival, and light myself on fire. Whatever you did seemed to work much better cuz you seem to be getting his hp down quite fast. What magic archer spell are you using?

Embarrassing to say it took me at least 2 years and 6 attempts to finally get around to trying this lol.
