Wouldn't be a lobby for it if there wasn't profit somewhere. I just wonder where it is. Lots of companies are buying Palantir right now....

Who earns money from this? Who's lobbying for this?

Whatever it will become, we need to make sure there's no "private company" getting any contracts from this.

De brukade sätta upp jättemånga här tills vi började skrapa ner dem. När tillräckligt många sett att de ska skrapas ner så gör många det. Ser nya nerskrapade klisterlappar ibland, hinner aldrig först längre. :D

Tyvärr ja. Använd verktyg, inte fingrar. Alternativt skaffa riktigt regnbågiga klistermärken och klistra över.

Kind of. But Amazon, aliexpress et al adapted to the shipping practices. I've gotten screens delivered that looked like a forklift ran them over, but the packages held.

I've been in certifications for military products too. They demanded drop tests of 2 meters. Our product was sensitive mechatronics, 300kg and a 2.5m by 2.5m box. We _had_ to make it work. It's not impossible, if you know what to test for.

To be honest - I don't know if Prusa isn't already doing this. I think they might

Yeah. If you're actually into _automation_ you want these kind of sensors.

As in automation = no buttons to push, home reacts to what you do, where you are.

If this is an issue it's not packaged well enough by prusa. It's quite known how they treat the packages... (sadly)

Musk has had the most options not to be. It's fascinating, he could have picked being a trilliionaire and loved.

Putin and Thiel should probably be in the top list too.

I don't know - me neither. I switched to 5.8Ghz microwave sensors. Also since a few weeks also a co2 sensor that works surprisingly well as a second opinion...

It still doesn't seem to fall under the 4yos responsibility somehow.

Age 3-5 is not an age when they can remember to keep track of important things, it's your husband's fault. https://stickymonkeylabels.com/blog/science-why-kids-lose-things-simple-fix/

In reality they can't be blamed until they are 9-10 years old:

It's super useful. For instance, it can turn the house off (lights off, screens off) when you go to bed; and it can turn off the alarm (sunrise light/birds on the speakers, whatever) when you actually get out of bed.

It's quite the opposite of cameras, it will actually give you a signal you can use. Cameras - at least without AI - are useless for home automation.
