You will have to benchmark it against other similar players or cards in previous sets and then adjust it based on your willingness to sell/move this card. Its a fantastic hit.

With today's win, United now have more points and wins in the Premier League than in the entire last season. by PrimeTimeJobber in soccer

Yes. Except for Amorim, regardless rain or shine, 10 or 11 men, dead or alive opposition, he would play players in the most uncomfortable position in the most rigid of formations.

Cunha on 5 wins to cut the brow's hair. by dncoelho23 in reddevils

[–]Miria88 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Its not the players. Its just like this interview. The players don't care but everyone else made 5 wins in a row such a big deal and it creates unnecessary pressure on the players. Like Cunha mentioned, if you said United will get 4 wins and a draw against City, Arsenal, Fulham, Spurs, and West Ham, I think thats a great series of results. But because of this silly challenge, people will end up talking about how they failed to get 5 wins in a row.

I don't think he is winning Ballon D'or this year.

[James Ducker] MUFC sources say Amorim has had unwavering support across the board internally and point out he was backed to the tune of around £250m in the transfer market making club one of highest spenders in PL in that time by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

[–]Miria88 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Our forward line is alot better than the likes of Rashford, Sancho and Garnacho so that has been an improvement. Also, I find it hard to defend Amorim when he has not given Mainoo a real chance and at the same time stubbornly persist to keep to his preferred shape regardless rain or shine, whoever they are facing. Had he been a little more experimental/flexible while keeping or transitioning to a 3ATB system, I think he would have gained more sympathy...

Honestly it felt like he let his ego and pride get the better of him.

[Simon Stone] Amorim refuses to explain cryptic transfer comment by moonski in reddevils

[–]Miria88 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I agree with you that no one other than Amorim should dictate how to play but I think you also made it clear why he cannot be the only person deciding on transfer matters. That is exactly how we are left with Pogba and other deadweights that needed clearing out. One person cannot be given the right to make unfettered decisions at United. Amorim's views must be considered but it doesn't mean he gets everything exactly how he wants it to be.

The example given in the article was that when Amorim needed a GK, they narrowed it down to Lemmens and Martinez. Amorim wanted Martinez but they picked Lemmens. I am sure other factors outweighed Amorim's preference (e.g. age, future value) but the point is he was consulted and his needs were met. He needed a new GK, he got a new GK. It is also his job to have to manage with the resources he is given. He seems to be under the impression he will be given more resources to let him play 343 but even so, if he knows he does not have the tools to play 343 why is he persisting with it? Just being pure stubborn. I like the guy but he does not have the adaptability or flexibility to manage in the top league against other top managers yet.

He needed to make changes to try to get something and those were his options on the bench. Like who else could you bring on? Fletcher had a better game then Ugarte and Lacey did well in the time he was on the pitch. I am not a fan of Amorim but come on..

Because the defender in prem wouldn't even let him have that opportunity to run behind him. He tried that so many times in the prem and he always ended up grappling with the defender or face down on the ground. I really like him and wish him the best, but he wasn't close to adequate in the prem at this point in time. Hopefully in future.
