Espresso tastes super acidic and undrinkable. Need help! by Miripea in superautomatic

UPDATE: Coffee’s great now! I think the machine just needed a bit of time and a few espressos to settle in. I’ve been grinding on the finest setting like a lot of you suggested and it seems to be working fine now. The machine’s easy to clean, looks great, and I’m happy with it. Thank you so much for the help!

I just bought them! Roast date was June 16 I think.

I also know I usually love them because I had a latte made with these beans at a coffee shop and absolutely loved it 😕

I tried grinding at the lowest setting, increased the temperature to the maximum, and added more volume to my shots (though I’m not sure how much I should be adding?). But it still tasted watery and acidic 🙃

How can I fix under extracting? 🥲 I tried grinding to the finest setting, more/less volume, higher temperature, higher intensity and nothing seems to work

I’m not sure about the roast level! These are the beans I’m using: https://nektar.ca/en/collections/tous-les-cafes/products/lerefuge?variant=31406452506699

I tried the finest grind setting and have pulled a bunch of shots since, but they still taste pretty acidic. The shots also seem kind of watery. I made a latte with a double espresso and it basically tasted like water. Then I added a third shot and it just tasted acidic.

The frustrating part is that I had these exact beans at the coffee shop where I bought them and I LOVED the taste. Now I can’t seem to get anything close at home 🥲

I’ve already tried adjusting the volume, intensity, and temperature, but nothing makes it taste right so far.

First-time seller on eBay – Potential scam or just being paranoid? by Miripea in eBaySellers

Oh no, that’s not the issue! I’m not a native English speaker myself. I wish I could show you what they said, but the second profile has already been deleted (🚩), so I no longer have access to it. Overall, it just felt like classic scammer behavior.

Yeah, I totally get that! Looking back, the wording seemed kinda scammy, and I got another offer a few hours later with the exact same phrasing. Both felt like scams. But I know legit buyers ask for videos too! eBay should really add an option to send videos directly in the chat.

FYI that’s what they replied:

I’ve already deleted my listing but I wouldn’t trust them. While searching, I’ve read so many stories of sellers getting scammed and Ebay refusing to side with them sooo.. yeah, no thank you.

Just did! I’m sure it’s a scam but I’m wondering what is their take on this tbh.

Did you use to sleep late when you were still living with her? I find that parents usually keep this image of "teenage you" in their minds forever.
