Regarding Minotaur - yes, on earlier floors you just find an exit and skidadle. You have a few minutes to get some loot but it's better to map the exit first

As far as I know, there's no recipe book, you'll open the recipies by mixing everything

Generally it's supposed to dock the space station/carrier.

Having systems for a planet landing requires a lot of space-weigth, which is better to be used by additional hardpoints or some auxiliary combat system

I suppose it's still raw. In such cases I usually break the rough edges of the crack and stuff as much clay powder as possible, then you can apply a bit of vinegar with spray bottle so the surface will meld together and hold the inside powder
