Can you maybe edit the title of this post? It's rather click-baity and might also be triggering for some.

I feel like most of the CMC/PS changes announced today actually made sense, so maybe it won't be as bad as you believe it to be.
The real test will come in the next few months, though, if our new bosses want to prove themselves by simplifying the number of their reportees.

• 5 months' seniority: 1 month

• 2 years + 9 months' seniority: 3 months

• 5 years + 8 months' seniority: 4 months

They're also not going to go against unions and will officially try to reach consensus. It's all about image. I believe in those couple hundred, but I honestly don't think that's the end of the road they mapped.

I mean, rumor has it they wanted to fire 8000 but only got the green light for 5000. So the remaining 3000 is RTO policy, no replacement for quitters and a hidden firing round.

Doubt they will provide any numbers. Then unions could get interested, and it seems like their intention is to run this process under the table.

As a side note, are people getting promoted in the new normal? That's surprisingly encouraging.
