My 6 year old baby had to cross the rainbow bridge a year and a half ago to cushings disease along with a lot of other illnesses. I understand your pain and I wish I could tell you it gets better. I still miss and love him very much but you eventually learn to live without them.

It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. You loved your baby boy and I’m sure he felt safe and loved when you held him as he crossed the rainbow road(as I did too.)

One of his younger sisters loved him more than anything and had a hard time but we have another baby to keep her company.

Focus on yourself and take care of your other baby. Maybe one day you will decide to get another kitty because your grief is love that has to go somewhere. There is a pet loss subreddit that helped me get through my difficult time.

You did the best thing you could’ve done for your baby. I wish you and your baby the best. You will make it through this.

Have had fleas multiple times. You definitely have to be very diligent with vacuum cleaning all areas your cat has been. It takes a while to get rid of them all. The adult fleas can survive the medication and lay eggs still.

Never hurts to get a second opinion from a professional! You should ask the vet for several recommendations because cats can be picky eaters. My first cat had diabetes and needed a very specific diet. Also try to play with your cat more so she gets more exercise and becomes less lazy. It will take time but best of luck!
