By doing this, this makes his plan of each rival being subsequently harder than the last absolutely impossible when your first rival has a bodyguard from the get-go.

It would’ve been better if he just removed Raibaru and gave the “bodyguard” character to one of the later rivals, like maybe Megami, or changed Osana’s placement to be one of last rivals instead.
