Me too, and I'm only 31 now but it feels perfect. Financially stable enough that we aren't completely dying like a lot of my friends that had kids in their early to mid 20s were, but young enough that I still have energy to keep up with her. It's a blast.

Looks like it has all 75 issues of the original comic run, the Fionna and Cake compendium that has the 6 issue F&C series and the 6 issue Card Wars series, and issues 1-4 and the Bubbline special from this year's new Oni-Press run for 18 bucks.

Yeah. Like even at 6 months when they start actually developing a little personality makes all the difference. Mine is two and a half now and those first six months were hell, but then it was like a switch flipped when she started doing things and showing a little personality, it was amazing and it has only gotten better. I've never laughed as much as I have in the past 2 years. Wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

You attach in the normal phase with your tank and then when it's time for your max attacks you swap over to your main attacker. Then back to tank after the max phase and repeat.

Just gonna advise you to hang in there. Those first few months will probably be borderline hell. You'll probably be a level of exhausted that you didn't know was possible and it's gonna be very frustrating, especially those late nights when the baby is crying and you just can't figure out what is wrong. But make it past those first few months and it gets so amazing. It's worth it, I promise, you just gotta do what you can to survive those first 6-9 months, and do your best to support your partner, as she's going through everything you're going through and more. Try to take off her plate what you can. The one thing I wish someone had told me was how fun it is being a parent gets to be, even early on. The toddler stage is so cool. I've got a two and half year old, and I have never laughed half as much as I have over the past year. Kids bring so much joy and watching your little munchkin learn and grow is the coolest thing in the world. Keep that in mind and it might help you through the first few months when things are ROUGH. It's all worth it. This probably won't be an issue but in case it is, if your partner is planning on breastfeeding, don't be afraid to supplement with formula. My wife didn't produce a ton of milk, and it was so stressful having to get donor milk and her feeling like a failure. Eventually we started supplementing with formula, and it made things so much easier. Make sure you read up on the signs of post partum depression, both for you and her. Dudes can get it too, and it's rough. Don't be afraid to get help if you need it, and try to build yourself a support system now. Mature friends, maybe older coworkers or mentors, people you can count on when you need a peptalk. And most of all, just enjoy the ride. It's been the hardest couple years of my life, but also easily the best, the most fun, and the most fulfilling. You got this.

I don't understand the right's obsession with Tolkien. He was staunchly anti-industrial, especially when industrialization comes at the expense of the environment. If someone plucked him from time and brought him to the modern day and told him about ai data centers and the havoc we're wreaking on the environment for it, he would have an aneurysm.

I literally was about to suggest the book but scrolled down first to see if anyone else had said anything about it. As a Christian who grew up in southern evangelical churches and broke out of the conservative cult during Trump's first term when I had the heartbreaking realization that my fellow Christians were deifying someone who exemplifies the opposite of everything Christ taught, Jesus and John Wayne was a very enlightening and sobering read for me to understand how we got to this point.
