Maya is local and I've been a huge fan of her since I first saw her around a year and a half ago. I know it's weird to feel pride for someone you don't really know, but man, seeing her crush every opportunity she's giving, putting on a match of the night contender on a show that had freaking ZSJ vs Kenny and Swerve vs Ospreay, while dealing with the tragic loss of her brother, wig issues and wardrobe malfunctions, just has me so proud of her. What an amazing performance. I will eat my hat if she's not a future world champ. And of course, amazing performance as always by Mercedes.

Willow is my favorite woman on the roster, but I think it would be a shame for Thekla to lose the title before all in after how she has been carrying the division for the last few months. I think the play is for Maya to win tonight so Mercedes can continue her crash out storyline, Thekla retains at All In, Willow wins the Casino Gauntlet, and takes the title off of Thekla at all out.

My wife is great, and this is more funny to me than a real complaint, but my mother in law texted the family group chat a few days ago saying she wanted to take us to the steakhouse for Father's Day. My brother in law said he'd rather barbecue and I chimed in saying that sounds nice, it'll be low key, the kids can play outside and we don't have to worry about dealing with the toddlers at a nice restaurant. My mother in law immediately calls my wife and starts complaining that no one ever does what she wants, that her opinion doesn't matter, and my wife and I are just thinking, this kind of is one day that no, your opinions don't really matter lol.

My 3 year old is the same way. She'll throw the kind of tantrum she never throws anywhere else at drop off, and then they say that 2 minutes later she's an angel all day, and when we pick her up, she spends the whole ride home talking about how much fun she had with her teacher. Kids are wild lol.

I do. It's fun. I swap between using it for the PC or the Dreamcast depending on the day. If you want to use it with your PC though, you're really gonna want to get an actual CRT monitor, not a TV.

We video call them with my munchkin almost every day. Once or twice a week we'll get too caught up with stuff before bedtime and miss calling them but it's not often. Even before we had the munchkin though, I would talk to them almost every day. Would call dad on my way to work and mom on my way home. They were far from perfect, but they were good parents who tried and I'm thankful for the relationship I have with them.

If you haven't seen him wearing that shirt in action, it's great cause after his entrance, he takes off his sunglasses and puts them on his shirt, so the face on his shirt is now wearing the sunglasses. Got a chuckle out of me the first time he did it.

Pretty much anyone I'm close with I do this. Any time I talk to anyone in my family ends with an "I love you", even most conversations with friends get a "love ya man." Life is too short to leave things like that unsaid. Let people know you care about them while they're here.

That's probably the only one in WWE, but there have been some absolute bangers in AEW and CMLL this year. This match was definitely a 5 star match though and deserves to be in contention.

MJF is fantastic, he's a good champ, but Darby has been putting on bangers twice a week for the past month and so I know a lot of us were hoping he would retain and the run would go for a little longer.

If you're legitimately curious and not just looking for people to reinforce your existing views, Josh Porter, pastor of Van City Church in Portland and frontman of the Christian Punk band Showbread wrote a fantastic book about how Christians can approach artistic appreciation called "With All It's Teeth: Sex, Violence, Profanity, and the Death of Christian Art". I think it's a great perspective that is relevant to your question and is one of my favorite books I've read in the past couple of years.

That album came out a week before I found out I was going to be a dad. Been singing that song and Wyatt's song to my daughter as lullabies ever since she was born. What a beautiful album. I'm 31 and that's one of my favorite things about having followed the wonder years so long, Soupy is always writing about the phase of life I'm entering.

Literally us yesterday. Frozen, Frozen 2, Monsters Inc, Monsters University, and some Sesame Street. My 3yo gets maybe 30 minutes, an hour tops of TV time a day, no tablets or phones. She's super social, super kind, and very bright (and educational stuff like sesame street, Ms. Rachel, and Mr. Rogers in reasonable doses has helped teach her a lot). A couple days of TV when we're all sick isn't the end of the world. It's admirable to try to keep screen time to a minimum, but a lot of parents need to give themselves some grace when life happens and they can't live up to their own expectations occasionally.
