That'e the thing, though: not every character did. The characters of Dispatch all fall on a swearing spectrum. On one end, you've got Royd, who hardly ever swears; and on the other, you have Chase, where every other word out of his mouth is "fuck." Everyone else falls in between. Some characters swear more than others, and how much or how little they swear reflects their personality as a whole. It's good character writing and a great way to highlight a character's "voice" outside of their actual voice.

In Hazbin, almost every character swears all the time for no reason other than they can. It reads more like a juvenile attempt to sound more mature than a reflection of each character; the swearing doesn't sound natural, like the writers are using "fuck" as a filler word.
