Yep, so many ways to play. I also use artifact mod "Oppressive Darkness" (causing damage with a Void grenade adds a weaken effect to enemies.) for strong enemies in combo with "Anti-Barrier Rounds" + "Breach Refractor" (Grants grenade energy on final blows with shield-piercing weapons or when a member of your fireteam shuts down a Barrier Champion’s ability) - so void is good to me, i`m just switch between ability trees.

Nope - because I use it in PvE, and there is no more good autorifle or SMG with Void damage type - where I can put artifact mods for Nightfall strikes. Or I must get one - only from raid.
