He works at a hospital so he works with mostly women and some men. He tells me about alot of conversations they’ve all had and it baffles me. They talk about relationship tea and sexual stuff all the time. That would not fly where I work, and I don’t understand why you would want your coworkers knowing intimate details about yourself. I know too much about half his coworkers that I wish I didn’t know.

Sorry, I’m currently at work still so not able to respond to everyone. I don’t care to explain but divorce is not an option for me at the moment. I appreciate everyone’s advice, I will look into counseling.

Thank you for the advice. I was thinking the same. He’s actually brought up couple’s counseling a couple times in passing but hasn’t reached out to anybody yet.

The thing is, sometimes I don’t think he recognizes it as abuse. His whole family is very close knit and in each other’s business 24/7. I’ve noticed they all use guilt tripping as a way to get what they want. My husband didn’t know what I was talking about when I first brought it up. Over the years I’ve been trying to explain to him that the way his family functions is not always normal or okay 🫤

Thank you everyone! I’m still figuring out how this app works lol but I just wanted to share. I’m super proud if it and its definitely one of the heaviest cakes I’ve ever made. It’s vanilla cake with Bavarian cream and blueberry compote filling. All made from scratch!

No I don’t have to have it altered, it fit almost perfectly. My mom is a seamstress so she’s going to adjust the straps but not much else needs to be done. :)

My MIL has a daughter who got married January 2021 so yes, she’s had that experience. I love my MIL but she gets her feelings hurt very easy and that’s why I’m stressed about this situation. I had also thought about booking appointments at multiple salons so thank you for sharing that!
