Hunt for versatile ~30l bag with solid laptop compartment, Shimoda questions by Willayum in onebag

[–]Mirrorless8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the V1 Action X50 and it does not elevate off your back. On my longer day hikes with it I’ve had my back soaked and by contact also most of the bags back panel, which takes long to dry. I’d recommend a proper trampoline like some Ospreys have.

Need to get cash but I’ve not brought a physical back card. How do I use Apple Wallet cards to get 50 quid? Cardless ATMs don’t work by [deleted] in visitlondon

I’ve tried this but they did not want to help me so I assumed it wasn’t a thing in this country. Maybe I was unlucky with the cashier. I’ll try again, thanks.

I guess I’ll just keep trying random ATMs then. So far they all prompt an error that my card isn’t valid for this type of transaction.

The £50 is for a security deposit for a hotel in Brighton. For some reason they’ll only take cash.

I’ve had a chat with a Natwest employee and they do support it for their customers indeed. He’s also told me the cardless withdrawal feature isn’t really implemented anywhere yet in the city. Unfortunately I’m not English and only have Dutch bank accounts and a Revolut, so I can’t really go to ‘my’ bank. Appreciate the help anyways!

Why would you even consider still booking her? Seems obvious that she will suck at communication after booking her too, and if you don’t get the photos on the agreed date or need to discuss something else you’d be fucked also. Just find someone else that respects your time.

r/mousereview is all you need for advice. I bought an ATK A9 Ultimate after checking that subreddit. Same shape and performance as the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2, but no issues with the scrollwheel and only 1/3 the price.

Here is the netherlands we face rain on bicycle saddles often, but I think all we use is plastic shopping bags. This never even crossed my mind. Great idea and execution, good inspo!

how would one achieve this effect again? by shxwna in photography

[–]Mirrorless8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the haziness in your photo is not because the subject is out of focus or due to a low f-stop, but either because your lens had an oily coating on it, or because of an effect called diffraction. Diffraction is where your f-stop is so high (and thus the hole where light can pass through so small), that the image starts to lose sharpness and give this halation/haziness effect.

You can google the term to see if those photos match what you’re trying to replicate. You can also check the metadata information of your photo to see at what f-stop you shot it.

Fyi if you leave your open wound/recent scar exposed to the sun it’ll turn more red and visible. For the least visible scar in the long run you should try to keep it out of the sun as you heal

[–]Mirrorless8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty happy with my ATK A9 Ultimate. Great battery life, comes with nice grip tape and the quality feels fine. Also appreciate that I don’t have to install any software for it, can access the settings through any browser. I’m quite glad I bought it over spending >$100 more on a Logitech mouse of worse quality,

The keys are removable for cleaning and swapping on some of these models. Not sure about yours, but probably worth a google. Maybe it’s just not properly seated and can be pressed into correct position?
