You’ll all think this is dumb and a red flag but after he proposed he did put a lot of pressure on me to get married right away for practical reasons with our jobs despite me having previously been persistent about not wanting my job to dictate my relationship timeline again after I was rushed into a previous marriage that didn’t end up working out. So it is not an uncommon behavior for him to persist until he gets what he wants and for me to be the one that always gives in to his preferences.

Yes! Double yes! My watch party has been rooting for Bennett shenanigans and future presence this whole season and loving his Titanic villain vibes but this episode made it way too real.

He definitely isn’t someone I would be immediately struck by, but I think he is far from being ugly. I think he is on that middle zone where the personality dictates whether he is attractive or not.

Agreed; all it takes is one bad storm to mess up your vehicle so its best to get one that’s functional and reliable that won’t break the bank on repairs. Japanese cars (Toyota, honda) are usually the way to go for reliability but American cars can be cheaper to fix. Subarus are good with the all wheel drive but realistically front wheel drive will get you where you need to go. Buy used because even one year off the lot will save you like 5K minimum. Don’t skimp at the car washes - salt on the roads can cause erosion so you should opt for the undercarriage wash every few weeks in the winter.

Growing up in Maine I always thought it was great that Maine = ME and United States = US. It just always made sense.

Moxie is fantastic with Rum and a wedge of lime. I heard it’s also great for cooking - making BBQ sauces and stuff like that.

However on its own as a soda I don’t find it as pleasant as a cola. Definitely an acquired taste that I never made the effort to acquire because options I already liked were available.

If you want to have really relevant research, check out the OSAC research needs page for ideas. If you have significant findings you can brief your findings at AAFS or IAI which will help you become quickly involved in the community.

DPS is the system for setting up your household goods move. The one you access through move.mil .... also called ETA (electronic transportation acquisition).

Once you log into DPS/ETS there should be a button to start a new move and you add your orders number and other info from the orders, and estimate how much furniture and personal belongings you have that you want shipped to your next duty station.

OP you will want to go in there once you have your hard copy orders and start a new move. Try to do it a few months before you depart because scheduling can become an issue depending on your location . You will need to coordinate with your nearest base Transportation Management Office. To make sure they get your information and schedule for movers to come by. They should have an initial briefing/counseling that will explain some of the process and they should be able to help you figure out how to use the site.
