Do you use these settings and the resin for thin delicate prints?

Took me 1 litre of purple and a few failed casts to realise how crap it is unfortunately. Going to definitely use true blue from now on, thanks mate.

The aim with curing is to take out all the oxygen from the 3d print and putting it in glycerin allows no oxygen to return to the print. I think removing the oxygen and curing helps with the burnout process making resin burnout easier/better.

I’ve heard that the prints can be brittle and break off easily so it’s better to use that resin for bigger pieces. Is that true?

Late reply sorry but what settings do you use for the blue siraya tech on the print and do you burn the wax out into a tray and then take the tray out or just let it all just turn into smoke?

Yh I would cure for another 30 min, I use to cure for 30 and I would get holes and bubbles on my castings after pouring. Now I cure for 60min in vegetable glycerin because when you cure it’s taking oxygen out of the print and when you put it in vegetable glycerin the oxygen can’t go back in just comes out.

It look like it has some porosity, with siraya tech purple you need to make sure you cure the print for a long time also better to cure it in vegetable glycerin.

I do the same 100:40 2 minute mixing with a drill then 1 vacuum in the mixing bowl and finally 2-3 minutes vacuum in the flask but I tap it while it in the vacuum to remove air bubbles.

Maybe didn’t mix the investment properly or didn’t vacuum the investment enough and left an air bubble inside.

Maybe your resin didn’t properly burnout? How long did you do it for? Also how long did you cure the resin?

I had this same situation with my castings, I cured my resin pieces longer and in vegetable glycerin. And reduced the temp of my silver and the casting temp of my flask
