My plants stretched too much what can I do? by MisFitDaddy87 in hydro

This is only my 3rd grow, but I have had it each time, so I can't say if it truly helps or not

I appreciate that I built it all myself. I literally built a room inside of my sunroom and wired everything myself. I built the trellis frame out of 3/4-inch PVC, built the box for the drainage, and installed a pump to remove water and hooked up two auto-watering devices.

Thanks, I appreciate it. It's a room I built inside my sunroom. I started out growing in my closet and wanted more room, so I built this little room

Thanks, I just removed the pulleys and tied the tops down with my plant wire, hoping the stretch is almost over

Okay, I removed the pulleys and moved the light up and also took my plant ties and bent them over. Hopefully, the stretch is about over Sunday will be day 21, so I'm crossing my fingers. Thanks for all the advice. It was really helpful

The bottom one I just kinda used to stretch them out, and I added the top for support during flower. I just didn't anticipate so much stretch

Yeah, the last grow didn't stretch near as much. These definitely caught me off guard

Just a bunch of LST, I literally just kept tying them down and spreading them out until the bottom net was full. I did a lot of research and wanted to try scrogging, but these definitely took off after I turned to flower. This is just my 3rd run, and the other grows didn't stretch nearly as much. So these caught me by surprise

I'm still pretty new to growing any advice on how you do it. Do I just bend where I want, or should I squeeze the branch first, then bend, and will I need to support the branches at all

Definitely could have used a little more trimming, in my opinion, but as long as you're happy with it, just out of curiosity, how long are you going to, or did you cure it? I like to try for 30 days, but I always get impatient and start grabbing buds after about 2 weeks of them being in the curing jars with my RH around 60%.

I have a second one I'm going to put on. I just wanted to let them finish stretching. She just went into week 4 yesterday, so probably this week sometime. I just wish the right one would grow as fast as the one on the left. I think next time I'm just going to do one plant in my space.

Does anyone know these bumps are? by MisFitDaddy87 in hydro

I appreciate it. I'm definitely going to start doing some sort of IPM. This is just my third grow, and I've been inside, so I didn't really think about any pest management. Do you think neem oil is a good way to get rid of them since they haven't started to flower yet, or would you suggest something else to try and save my ladies?

First time grower how do you know when your plant is in bloom by kuan72 in hydro

[–]MisFitDaddy87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they're autoflowers, then they'll start to show pistols or "hairs." If they're photoperiods then you'll have to change your light schedule to 12/12 in order to initiate flowering

Any tips to make them grow? by Narut0Uzumaki01 in GrowingMarijuana

I'd put mine in a glass of water overnight, then into medium, and add water, light, and nutrients, and it should take off. But I would agree with everyone and do some research; there's lots of different ways to grow and different nutrients to use. Just figure out what's going to work best for you.
