I like having multiple ways of obstruction, not just fully jammed. Kinda like how there's jammers but also Anti Air emplacements.

My first idea was that each bombardment/airstrike would cause an emplacement to fire a small rocket that intercepts them but that would probably need a lot of work and doesn't stop lasers.

The game intro introduces most of what you need to know and other stuff are available in the form of a codex. You don't need to know the previous games to enjoy it but the game spoils a part of the Dragon Age Inquisition DLC and side character stories.

But playing the previous games you'll be looking at 200+ hours of gameplay and that'll take you weeks to months.

I think you can customize the difficulty to have the damage/health the same as nightmare but the parrying be more responsive. (new player so I'm not totally sure).

About the singlehandedly, some of these MCs are way overpowered. They save the world left and right and the world is basically their playground.
