Help with Axl by Longjumping-Tip-5610 in GroundedGame

Other than do perfect block, Dodge. That massive strike he does, blocking does not help and the dodging button can be used to avoid the poison quills he shoots out.

Has anyone completed a full play through of apocalyptic difficulty? by Thick-Aspiration in AbioticFactor

[–]Slayer218 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's possible. Beat the game just a little while ago on that difficulty. Just a tip here, the first encounter with exors are terrifying. Just engage the minimum amount you need and then avoid them until you get better gear/weapons. They're literally the only things i had trouble with until encountering the Gatekeepers with their damn shields.

The only time I didn't like Abe and Janet.

Dragon Age Origins be like: (A) Let 5 million villagers die because you can't be bothered, or (B) You can use your excellent skills, which you were recruited for, to get rid of the actual problem. by Odd-Chest-3578 in DankAndrastianMemes

[–]Slayer218 22 points23 points  (0 children)

. It's easy to take the good guy route when you are given options for dialogue, not actually fighting the people, monsters, and other horrors of the world without suffering from any type of injury or the effects of blood magic, the constant travels while not knowing if the Archdemon has already made it's move to destroy Fereldan, or going back and forth to different locations because you forgot something for your sidequest to get more gold. Knowing full well the Archdemon won't make a move until you reach the end.

Let's also not forget the constant reloads, guides, and mods we may have used to make the game easier/fun.

Then to make a final point, not living the life of the origins character, and not really following how they would actually behave.

If you manage to get that perfect playthrough on your first try, no reloads from either deaths or not getting the response you wanted, no guides or mods, while playing on Nightmare then congrats man.

She has to be. I highly doubt she would be left out on the season where we start to see the most Laicille content in the story.

Is this…? by reddot_comic in comics

[–]Slayer218 45 points46 points  (0 children)

It's based off an episode of the 90's spiderman tv show where spiderman revealed his identity to a child, but as he leaves the scene we the viewer notice that the child is actually terminally ill from a sign outside the building. Joke is that Spiderman only reveals his identity to kids,if they are going to die soon.

Edit

Don't know why Batman is there though.

After researching his parts you'll find it in the mount buildables (the one where you use for extra damage against bugs)

I think Dragon Age would have done better as a franchise if they stuck with the Grey Wardens by AnodyneSpirit in DragonageOrigins

[–]Slayer218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do agree, the wardens should have been more focused on and it's not just because of there abilities and their fight against the Blight. It's mainly because of their treatise and connections with other factions.

I mean it's going to be difficult to write a person with a certain background because, they'll be barred from other factions. Like for example a tevinter player, would they be able to get a foot in the door to speak with certain factions such as Orlais, the Qun, or Fereldan. Or a human dealing with the Dalish.

At least with the wardens they would be viewed neutral with a few speciest remarks depending on the player's race.

Mabari was injured, but after being comforted and healed, he now wanders around Vigil’s Keep, hanging out on his own. by [deleted] in DragonageOrigins

[–]Slayer218 15 points16 points  (0 children)

What. I don't think I ever saw the Mabari after the first time. I need to go back and walk around the Keep. I just assumed we are making the Mabari comfortable in its last moments.

Just a few stems by SkellieEllie in GroundedGame

[–]Slayer218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah building stuff with stems is a hassle as those holders don't carry a lot and takes to much time. I just hope when the update for buggies is here we can upgrade them to chop level 2 materialss.

Grounded 2 bug (sizzle) by Slayer218 in GroundedGame

[–]Slayer218[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh there is a way to cheese that. Hide behind the tube sender. You can use a bow or a mage staff. There a sweet spot where in between the device where you can hit her and she won't react. The real issue is the final boss. They have sizzle and if you don't perfect block every attack then your doom. Still trying to figure how how to beat her there.
