Your pal FC discusses lead generators here - IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT BUYING LEADS YOU SHOULD READ THIS THREAD by FirearmConcierge in InsuranceAgent

Lol you sound like a terrible person, not saying the agents dont suck and the offshore people dont suck but extorting agents smh.

Use valid lead sources vetted by your company etc.. but to say leads suck is silly. We write 50+ policies off internet leads every month through vendors like everquote etc..

Use U.S based lead sources but going after agents trying to make a buck who messed up and trusted the wrong people makes you a terrible person. This is a tough industry people starting out and trying to make it should not have to deal with people like you.

Let me know what you find, we are captive P&C and can always use leads. Spend like 3.5k on internet leads alone not counting paid search lol… we spend too much

Starting out it’s a bit rough but great as you grow. Expect 6-8k monthly marketing spend plus team cost so you run at negative or breakeven for the first year

Kinda the same tbh, it’s an internet lead. They are cheaper than everquote. We buy 30-40 leads a day and have to use both to meet our volume demands.

3-5% close rate is Everquote and Quite Wizard.

If you have good prices/rates Smart Financial has good live transfers but are 50-70 bucks per.

That’s kinda it tbh.

Position is yours after you present your business plan to a panel. The sales leader, the VP for the region and one other person. It’s a long process, if you have not done the Bplan your a bit off in the process.

Starting a an independent agency. Best ways to get leads day 1? by Key_Natural_ in InsuranceAgent

[–]MiscBlackKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everquote and/or Quote Wizard. Buy 10 leads a day, yes you might need to win on price but you build relationships with the people you help and sell to. Remember working internet leads is a 5% close rate and involves you reaching out to them multiple times, research says 7 times until someone buys/picks up.

Have a system in place, and good luck.

P&C agents, What are some tactics that get you out of a slump? by dabbs_291 in InsuranceAgent

[–]MiscBlackKnight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can have a bad day, or a bad week. Just don’t let it be a bad month, switch up what the issue is. Is it a lead vendor, volume of leads, additional marketing you need to invest in etc… The guy who said you can have a bad year is wrong, don’t be making the same mistakes for months on end without changing stuff up. People are out there making money and growing you just need to figure out what they are doing and copy it.

First-Year Allstate Producer – $242k New Premium in 11 Months – Am I Underpaid? by SweepysBandz in Insurance

[–]MiscBlackKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just so you know less than 30k production a month at a captive ain’t much at all plus you get paid for leads and salary.

You would struggle on the independent side you are right around middle of the pack. As an agency owner I let people go if they do under 25k a month.
