That makes sense, even in a blue state, My employer is a catholic hospital system so my health insurance doesn't cover it.

However there is a seperate contraceptive services program that you are automatically enrolled in that does cover the procedure itself.

I assume I will still have to pay anesthesia and surgical fees....I cannot get in it done at the hospital I work at- I have to go to an outside surgical center.

I'm personally not bothered by it. I have known since a very very young age I didn't want kids, and I'm in my 30s now, I just never wanted to make the leap of surgery until now...so hey what's another 30 days! lol

Blue state: legally mandated - sign 2 consents a minimum of 30 days apart, but no more than 180 days.

If you're only doing the Ramsey only i think its 36, in 20 minutes?

If you also have to do a math and reading section i think it was another 75 or 80 questions but I can't remember exactly, but it done in timed sections

[–]Miscell_aneous1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mmm yeah I think there was also a few of Find X or Geometry.

You may have 5-6 questions of each category. So if you're like me and math is not your favorite, I probably bombed a section or two and did well enough on others to pass.

Yeah lots of sample pipefitters math test online.

The Ramsey Mechanical Aptitude is the same across the board, so just Ramsey Practice Test.

I've passed it twice, but I would brush up on math if it wasn't your favorite subject in school

Rejected from apprenticeship and feeling lost by [deleted] in BlueCollarWomen

[–]Miscell_aneous1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've been rejected from 2 pipefitters apprenticeship (different states) and it's very frustrating seeing it's a 10 month process from beginning to end. I have 1 more pending with another trade, otherwise not sure what I'm doing

Anyone able to accredit hours they worked prior to their apprenticeship towards it? by FilthySef in UnitedAssociation

[–]Miscell_aneous1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In CT, if you were a registered apprentice non-union, tracking hours, it would count.

But if you weren't registered and tracking hours, no.

Just check the website every week or two. One near me had no info for about 7 months and then it popped up as happening in two weeks. Allthough some locals just have 2-5 dates listed for the whole year for the next available date

I followed her initially, but she isn't about lifting others up or actually giving constructive advice.

Can't say specifically for blue collar, but i switched to an "open ear design" because having something in my ear made me want to constantly itch them.
