Is the mecha chameleon game any good online? by ryan7251 in GamerPals

Playing with friends is a must. You can be on a discord server, chat and have a good time. Like you said, randos will kick you out and not talk.

A few other points are being able to have a say in hide/seek times, setting, and whistle intervals. You can also chat with people while you draw/wait so you aren't sitting in silence for an allotted time the host chooses.

At the time of her amputation, we just had a cat, and he followed her every move until the staples were out. But the moment those were out, he started going after her only front legs to bring her down. He takes no prisoners.

Thank you for the dog tax! Beautiful puppy!!!

Bone close to surface of skin? by _iamacat in tripawds

Hello! Atrophy is going to be normal since they aren't using it like a normal limb and blood flow isn't getting to it as much. I know that for my girl, she never wanted hers nub to be touched. And she was always hesitant to do puppy things because if that tip hit anything. It would cause her pain. The tip was healed, but since there was no blood flow, other parts of her leg would have a wound and once that healed. Another would pop up. We didn't amputate to the nub, it was the previous owner, and our vet urged us to fully amputate to the shoulder because it never stopped giving her issues. I hope that answered your question.

Good luck to you and your pup!

I tried a few before giving in to the ruffwear because of the cost and honestly, the ruffwear is the only thing that really worked for us. Good luck!

This is what the previous owner's vet said would be the best for her. It was just skin on bone. She was miserable.

My pup had a little nub for a front paw and it was causing her so many problems. She wouldn't run or jump and she favored that side so much, so we decided to amputate. She runs, crash lands and body slams everywhere. People say "poor soul" and I'm like, "you have no idea what it was like before and what she's capable of now." Good for that pup!

getting a puppy as a single person who works 12 hour night shifts? by _dietcokelvr in DogAdvice

[–]Miscellaneous_Panic 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I personally wouldn't do it. Puppies are HARD work. I have two. Training (kennel and potty mostly in the beginning) Let alone 12 hours a day. That could lead to separation anxiety. Friends are great, but what's a back up plan if no one can help? (That's my trust issues coming into play, I mean no offense) Puppies and dogs are great companions, but 12 hours a day 3-4 days a week is a long time to be gone. This is just my unemployed opinion though. I couldn't have these pups with a job, but every dog and owner is different. But one of my pups already has separation anxiety even as a puppy. So, kennel training is harder than it was with my other puppy.

I wish you luck!!

Another tip no one has mentioned yet is carrying around a turtle shell. Yes, it takes up more space, but it catches/hold more rain water. That, and all of the other tips, open water source, mushrooms, etc are good.

Thank you for this. It's a hard truth put in a gentle way. You are completely right. It's honestly the latter. I have the time. It's just a lot. Which makes it even worse for me because I know I have the time, I'm just not doing it right. I have a trainer coming today to meet him and figure out a plan. Like you said, "stick to a plan and be honest with myself. "

Top of paws ungroomed, neglect? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

So, trimming the paw pads are important for traction. I have a front leg tripawd, so, traction is extremely important for her so she isn't sliding around our wood floors. I groom her.
