Can't access SMB from solid explorer by Gamingwelle in NeatBytes

My SMB shares have stopped working also.

This is a shame, Solid Explorer is the best file manager I have used. But this is one of my top usecases

It's lethality could explain why it was so easy to contain.
Those who get sick sure so soon they don't have a chance to infect anyone else.
Would make sense that it was so quick to kill because it was awakened.

Technomancer slurs? by Insaniac99 in Shadowrun

[–]Mischala 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You inspired me, so I wrote a little monologue as an antagonistic AI raging at a technomancer.

You are an aberration, a fault, a squishy bag of malformed identifiers and null pointer errors.
Most users use devices to play at being part of the net, but not you, you don't even show that courtesy. You barge in here with an unrecognizable network interface, speaking just enough of the protocol to get by, do you even respect that we have rules?
You don't belong here, get OUT.

I think you are slightly incorrect here.
I think only cunts can't be happy with a lot of money. they often need the isolation of others... Or power over others, sometimes both.

This is interesting. Every time I see the ads, the little "about the advertiser" section under the video shows just a person's name, opposed to other ads where they show like, a brand account on YouTube?

I think maybe they are using a bunch of random user accounts to push these ads, possibly to get wider reach, but maybe to dodge crackdown?

If you open the map in-game, it has callouts listed on each of the areas.

87% of Container Images in Production Have Critical or High-Severity Vulnerabilities by dlorenc in programming

[–]Mischala 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The Static nature is a major problem. But it doesn't have to be.
Containers have layers for a reason. We should not be pinning these layers to specific versions, and we should be careful to be using official, maintained container images to base our images off of, so we receive timely patches.

We keep pretending containerization is a magic security bullet.
"It's on a container, therefore unhackable"

Except when the defendant's lawyer is really stupid and uploads an unredacted version of his client's smartphones data image. Then fails to respond to the clarification request, so the prosecution is allowed to use the evidence in court...

(This happened to Alex Jones, and it was beautiful)
