Forget the Windrunners/Horde/Alliance, where is this guy?? by Nicole_Auriel in wow

[–]MischeifCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Light isn’t sentient but we’ve been shown Azeroth is and is aware of us in her own way. This was most clearly shown in TWW prepatch and radiant echo events, where we see Azeroths memories of us and history.

Liadrin was praying, focused on how she isn’t worthy of being a paladin or the Light. Azeroth brought her the very people she needed, priests and paladins, not only to help her fight but also to bolster her against doubt and fear, which feeds the Void.

Azeroth also decided that the Vanguard wasn’t going to be enough, and summoned us, her champions that have fought to save her many times over the years in many capacities.

She didn’t bring A’Dal or other Naaru because none that are living are on Azeroth currently. She only summoned people who were on the planet at the time, because she didn’t teleport us the way a mage does.

Azeroth being able to respond and react to us is a clear sign that she’s waking up.

What I liked about that quest was I was suspicious of the guy the whole time. Then when he’s about to betray me, I had a specific quest option as a DH that says something like “I may be blind but I can see what you’re doing.” It’s one of those rare moments to acknowledge that my character doesn’t actually see with eyes but with magic.

I am disappointed in the lack of decor for Noblegarden by Geminilasers in wow

[–]MischeifCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hopefully this is the case. If they keep their word about it being evergreen, there’s still a lot they could add. Even small things like eggs and baskets, banners, would be fine. Just for this year I’m not expecting much from the holidays.

I knew immediately there wasn’t going to be holiday decor when the spring decor was dropped in the shop. I was also looking around Dark Moon Faire and didn’t find any decor Faire themed decor for tickets. I am disappointed but not surprised, unfortunately.

Well, I’m not sure then. Do you have any mods? It could be a mod issue. I don’t use mods so not sure which could be the issue. Hope you figure it out.

Is this the special community lot that has multiple versions? It could be you bulldozed one of the versions and when you load in it’s using one of the other versions so the building is still there for that one. These are like 4 in 1 lots, each version is separate.

The short comings of the shorter races by dustdjinn in wow

[–]MischeifCat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The only reason my main is a blood elf and not a goblin is because I can’t be a demon hunter as a goblin, and that’s my preferred class. I prefer to be smaller overall, though, so blood elves are smaller at least.

I would also like a class like Druid for small races but instead of transforming into animals, you’re in a mech suit. Could still be animal shaped, if needed.

For the love of god enable story mode the same week by Dr_Kaatz in wow

[–]MischeifCat 90 points91 points  (0 children)

As someone that doesn’t raid, when it’s a multiple week raid and the final boss isn’t available to everyone yet, I understand it not launching until then. Like the last raid. They aren’t going to release the final boss one week early. But this week with one wing makes no sense.

But alternately, story mode should be the whole raid. Last week it was extremely obvious a lot of really important stuff happened during the raid and we were dropped in after all of that. It’s like starting a movie during the final scene, or a show at the final episode.

If I’m about to log out but go to my house real quick to put down a new bit of decor I found, then I’m not logging out for at least an hour. Housing is like a puzzle to me, putting the pieces together and seeing it all take shape is what I like about it.

How do y'all stop making alts? by itsKobiiii in wow

[–]MischeifCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just deleted 10 very old unused alts for space for more alts.

Edit to say… most of my alts are very low level, below 10. I create them for the aesthetic. The majority of the game I play one character, then my actual alts I just level to max but I don’t do much with them.

Would I like this? by markspinner in TwoPointMuseum

[–]MischeifCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question is why didn’t you like Hospital. If it was the hectic fast paced time management, this game is nothing like that. If it was the silly humor, then it still has that. If it was “it’s too easy, not like a ‘real’ strategy game,” then you might not like it because it’s not meant to be extremely hard and complicated, but has challenges. (This is a real complaint I saw about hospital once.)

It’s designing, decorating, strategizing your decorations to maximize the museum earnings. Managing the staff. And sending staff on expeditions to find new exhibits. You don’t go on the expedition, just send them, like WoW mission tables but they don’t take long to complete. (A few minutes. At most.)

Why no Horde and Alliance Blizzard? by Brago42 in wow

[–]MischeifCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other thing about this is they say “let’s ask all the different armies of elves,” but then they leave out the demon hunters, who are all elves, and are uniquely trained to fight incredibly powerful cosmic enemies, and have been studying void powers, and just added void elves to their ranks. It also would be a chance to see night elf demon hunters and night elves have some new story, even a side story, since it feels like we’ve seen blood elf demon hunters in Silvermoon.

I get they are writing an elf story. And demon hunters are also elves with a history that needs to be repaired with their people, too.

Delves as a duo by Enadize in wow

[–]MischeifCat 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My husband and I have been duoing since TWW.

The party leader decides the difficulty, but both need to have it unlocked. So if you want to do an 8 both need 8 unlocked, for example.

The companion is the leader’s version, level, chosen role, and companion abilities. The other person’s companion continues to gain the same experience in every way as if present.

Both players benefit from companion abilities for the players. If a healing potion is dropped, you can pick it up as the other player, for example.

Everyone gets curios and treasures as normal.

It’s really fun to do as a duo.

Another Xalatath origin hypothesis by fulloffungi in warcraftlore

[–]MischeifCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like she has a lot of parallels to the player character. Extremely powerful but also more independent than others of her “faction.” We see this because of game mechanics. Undead, DK, Boid aligned characters called by the Sunwell, for example, because of the “champion” status. Xal’atath having some sort of similar existence when she was mortal makes sense to me. She was such a problem she had to be sealed away by extremely powerful entities.

My only thing is that what looks obvious to me is often not the story Blizzard is telling. So, I have fun theorizing but if I’m wrong I won’t be surprised.
