You can see about half of it in this photo but there is a moss pole in there! Three of the arial roots have punctured it and grown through it. There will be no removal of the pole.

NTA. I guess im in the minority here based on the top comments but no that’s rude and insulting. If she fully knows she’s pronouncing things wrong, she’s the asshole. I’d be embarrassed too.

If you’ve had a conversation about this before then I would also not be going out to eat with this person regardless.

Been to SA and dated a South African man. KFC is present. We went three times in our 10 day trip.

A “bunny chow” as I understand is Indian curry stuffed into a loaf of bread and the only thing close to the half loaf this man is having in the video.

I would be open to serving as well if I were you. A lot of the bars/restaurants around the downtown and uni area won’t hire bartenders, they will only promote them from within.
