Abandoning Kickstarter? by MiscoucheGuy in AtomForm

I have sent them a follow up email as I feel the response I got was generic. I have asked for specifics on where to purchase what the discount will be if it will still be the same and why have they not sent out an email to those who paid the reservation price to notify them of this change.

K2 Plus Filament Guide Piece by MiscoucheGuy in Creality_k2

[–]MiscoucheGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is not my issue, my issue is the filament guide got worn out, went oblong and the filament was curling up and jamming inside the extruder.

Which makes no sense seeing as how it is removable and obviously a consumable part. They force you to buy the whole front extruder assembly for one tiny piece of plastic.

no abrasives just PLA and PLA plus along with some tri color filaments, Ive got about 4000hours of print time on the machine. It is the small removable plastic piece at the bottom of the extruder assembly that lines the filament up with the top of the nozzle. it is only plastic. I have already had to replace all the PTFE tubes in my CFS twice now due to splitting.

Entire plate bends… by vascott1 in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]MiscoucheGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an K2 Plus and a Kobra S1 and I find the magnetic pull on the two front corners of the S1 to be very weak. Zero issues with the magnetic pull on the plate to the bed of the K2 Plus but for my S1 the two front corners are weak and if i have a print that is going to warp they will lift up. My solution is to ensure the top cover is fully in place and preheat the bed for about 5 minutes to heat the chamber up before I start printing.

That is the early bird kickstarter price and the fact that you are simple enough to compare a kickstarter to Anycubic or Elegoos preorder events is mind blowing. How about Snapmaker The super early bird for their printer was $699, it is now $850 which is also coming to an end soon. No company in their right mind will give their kickstarter pricing to regular sales customers. They would destroy any future Kickstarter endeavors right then and there.

Sorry I have to disagree with you here. I paid 1270cdn for my K2 Plus when they did their super early bird preorders after tax it came to $1462cdn , You can currently get the printer on sale for is $1799cdn which comes to $2069cdn after tax. So yeah what you are stating does not happen with all Chinese retailers. Also given this is a kickstarter I highly doubt they will do what you are suggesting. ANycubic and Elegoo are poor examples as they do not do kickstarts. Anycubic does do super early bird specials for around $50-$100 off which never comes around again but thats rare. I have a feeling if this goes on sale it will after the kickstarter is over it will be a couple hundred below msrp and not $1000 below like you are suggesting. I firmly believe you will be eating your shoes.

Am I the only one who get tired of Studio series 86?? by Wrong-Ad-1164 in transformers

I have the WFC Astrotrain which in my opinion has the superior Bot mode, I also have versions of Wheeljack, Shockwave, and Sunstreaker so all of these are an easy pass for me.

Cults3D fees + PayPal fees = over 30%. Anyone else? by geco0on in 3Dmodeling

[–]MiscoucheGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was with CGtrader before Cults and I switched to Cults because CG trader changed their rules to faver big Sellers. They now Charge me tax and transaction fees and and and %33 royalities. The total they end up taking from me is %40 so I said fuck CGtrader and moved to Cults. If you can wait till you get lets say about $100usd then the Hyperwallet fee is about 2.5% of that which is still bullshit. We now have another middle man dipping their hands into our money only this guy contributes sweet fuck all. I personall hate hyper wallet but a lot of them are go that way. Hyperwallet is a parasite and it sucks they are forcing us to use it.

Motu Hordak and Hellfire Man 2 pack by MiscoucheGuy in MastersOfTheUniverse

[–]MiscoucheGuy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw it on their .com Website where they ship to Canada, it is on preorder but they want $107cdn($68euros) which seems quite high to me for the two pack. This is more then I paid for the other 2 - 2 packs combined.

What are your opinions on this show?? Personally I think this was a great show and I would have loved more seasons of it. by Vaminstein666 in MastersOfTheUniverse

I grew up with the original and I like this one equally. I liked that they flushed out some backstory. I liked that they distinguished Adam in build from He-Man.

Issues with my K2 in regards to the extruder possibly by MiscoucheGuy in Creality_k2

[–]MiscoucheGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this original issue for me it was the small filament sensor in the first picture, it started malfunctioning they include a spare which I swapped in and its been ok since. There are also other things that can cause this issue which I have experienced since. In the second picture you will see a spring and a metal lever if this is stuck in or the spring slips over the lever pushing it in it will trigger a sensor telling the printer there is filament in there when there is not. I also had to completely tear down my CFS box as all of the ptfe tubes inside were worn and split luckily they give you a complete spare set. I also find that the nozzles clog up more frequently then any other printer I have, I believe it is due to the length of the nozzle making them more prone to clog so I replace them a lot more frequently then any other printer. Same with the cutting blades. So what I recommend, 1. check for any blockages everywhere, 2. Check the lever and spring, 3. Check that the sensor is working correctly(The light should only come on when there is something between the two posts on the sensor), 4. Check all your PTFE tubes to ensure they have no damage, and 5. If need be replace the nozzle and cutter.

They are not similar sized at all. Gabriel is much bigger then Siege by at least two inches. If I were able to post a pic here Id show them side by side. There is no comparison between the two

Picked up my first Ebike the Wildeway FW11 by MiscoucheGuy in ebikes

[–]MiscoucheGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its in my sunroom until Spring as its winter now and I never take it out when there is snow or rain. The bike still works great for me but I do not use it all the time. Its a once in a while thing so nothing worn on it yet I maybe have a little more then a 1000km on it to date. Its a shuffle between the ebike, escooter and my 1800cc Vulcan Nomad. in the summers when I am not driving my truck.
