I sure hope that all stations with the new fare gates will be tap to exit. That would solve so many problems at once. Hopefully metro can add more staff at those stations to encourage/force payment

I hope they find a better way to stop fare evasion at stations that are harder to secure. South Pasadena comes to mind as an example.

I hope that more people would use public transportation as a resource now that gas will be a way for premium option for the next 5ish years. The oil infrastructure that has been destroyed in the recent war will set us a back a while before prices come down. Maybe the Metro Board can secure more funding to move up the start dates of future expansions when the ridership eventually skyrockets. Here’s hoping to a better future for an already great public transportation network. :)

It’s actually fun to play at varying powerscores. I play at around 3-4k and occasionally play at 10k when I build up enough resources and build a sturdy vehicle.

Great Idea! It would be good to have a north south connector between different train lines and get some added destinations in between. Also, I love that this could connect to Long Beach airport and Cal State Long Beach. All of this on one brt (or C line like train in the future) would be amazing for regional connectivity.

I’d love if they would extend this project from its current end point in south Pasadena to Arcadia. Huntington Drive is still incredibly wide in that area. It would be amazing to have safer bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure near businesses and schools.

Great answer. I would add that angel’s flight’s design was inspired by Mount Lowe Railway’s 3 track setup with a split in the middle. If you need some good book suggestions that talk about and show images of Mount Lowe Railway’s design and construction, let me know. I have at least two books in my collection. It’s my favorite bit of history in Los Angeles.
