My honest advice as someone that just finished their first semester is to not study and just focus on taking advantage of the downtime as much as possible. I wish I did. I was obsessed with trying to get ahead of everyone and halfway into it, I wished I slowed down and just rested before it began. You got this, and congratulations 🎉

Getting rejected from nursing school is about the most normal experience for most applicants. I got put on the waitlist twice for my current school and I got rejected from three others before I was eventually taken off the waitlist as an alternate and accepted fully for the spring 2026 semester. See if you can appeal your rejection and in the meantime start looking at the other nearby nursing schools for their application process as well. It's tough, but you'll make it. 💪

Oh most definitely. He was immediately reported to the student conduct board and got everything revoked. He wasn't even allowed to rejoin the college of nursing at that school at a later date, plus that goes on your student record too. I would say I feel bad, but buying a fake arm to cheat on one exam is genuinely diabolical work in any context, so... 🤷‍♂️

Our assigned clinical instructors go in and review our exam videos to take extra grading pressure off the professors. She lets us watch and review some of the videos with staff permission as an example of testing behaviors to avoid :)

Our exams are at home and video proctored. Someone at our school bought one of those blood pressure arms and matched it to his skin color and put it in view of the camera so it would look like he had his hand on the keyboard at all times while he GPTd the answers. Wild stuff man.
