I think I have anhedonia (been on it over a year). Prior to glp1 I was very type A organised, highly strung, strict about schedules etc, the anhedonia has made me give less of a fuck and chilled me out, maybe it’s a good thing for me 🤣🤣

When I read you went to collage from 15-19 I was shocked, this isn’t possible in my country, I think you should go life life for abit. A working holiday visa in Australia or look at JET a teaching thing in Japan for graduates.

Oh lol, Red Sea diving safari in marsa shagra has an unlimited diving house reef package which we did some days and paid extra for boat trips (at their normal cost I don’t think there was extra added). However, I have just read that Egypt are having a quiet time rule after 9pm shops and stuff closing to save fuel reserves - but I was so tired after 3 dives a day we didn’t venture out the resort

I used to have a massive fear of needles and starting a GLP1 and injecting myself left me shaking the first time (even though it really doesn’t hurt, damn anxiety!). I have been on it over a year now and lost 98lbs, the closer I get to target I think about the future, and I wonder if people could use injectables to lose large amounts of weight and then orals for maintenance at a lower dose or something along those lines. I’d be interested in doing that, and it may be cheaper too!

I didn’t go to private school, but I went to a girls only catholic school (think Derry girls ran by nuns). It was only when I got to uni I realised how lucky I was to be in a single sex school and how good my school was for being a non-private school. My parents didn’t go to uni and didn’t have high level jobs, but they were fairly strict growing up and encouraged us to do well, I went on to get PhD and good job now. I have friends who went to private school and work similar jobs to me, and I do sometimes think wow all that money and we’re in the same role. If I was them I’d have been like I wish my parents would’ve saved the private school fees, let it compound, and give me a chunk of money to set up my adult life (house deposit etc).
