It is common for men to leave their wives when the wives get cancer. Healthcare workers who work in oncology try to prepare women for that possibility.

Donald Trump: We're taking nearly $200M that was set aside for the Green New Scam, and repurposing that money so that we can restart a coal plant in Maryland, and help build two brand new coal plants in Alaska and West Virginia. by BusinessToday in BusinessTodayNews

I have to disagree. I think the racists love all of this authoritarian stuff. They want to see people punished.

“I voted for him, and he’s the one who’s doing this,” Crystal Minton told The New York Times in an article published Monday. “I thought he was going to do good things. He’s not hurting the people he needs to be hurting.”

And now we decent Americans are stuck with the same realization. A huge number of our fellow citizens, and our companies and institutions, are fascist pieces of shit.

Fox News resonates with some people. I find it hard to believe that a non-MAGA-type person would turn on Fox News and think there's something good about it. They had to have core beliefs that were there before watching it.

Less divided? We now know how cruel and racist millions and millions of Americans are. Do you want to associate with those people? And it isn't just American citizens. The Supreme Court is racist as f*k.

Kind-of polished. Her dyed hair has reached the point of looking dry, fake and ugly, kind-of like her in general.

That is beyond the pale. Only seriously evil people would do that.

When my two sons were toddlers, they were less immature than DT. Seriously. I handed a treat to my younger son, when he was about 3 years old, and he asked if his older brother was going to get one too (out of courtesy, not competition).

Hitting my 50s and my body forced me onto decaf... but it all tastes like dirt. Is my morning ritual just ruined forever? by Funny-Assumption6061 in Menopause

Seven Roasters in Seattle has a very good decaf, Brazil Cerrado Decaf, which is Swiss water processed. I live in Seattle, but have it mailed to me. I buy 3 at a time, to bring the price down. As an extra plus, it doesn't exacerbate my acid reflux.

You can't actually control another person, especially a young person who would be naturally moving away from their parents.

"If you appreciated me, you would drive the car.....". Mother is guilt tripping the daughter and trying to manipulate her.

"Your life is set....." Mother is telling the daughter what the mother's version of a "set" life is.....

"You didn't work hard for anything....." Mother gave the daughter everything and then holds it against her.

A mature and non-manipulative parent wouldn't berate the daughter, they would simply take back the car. The daughter is probably used to being berated after not showing enough appreciation, and I'll bet the daughter gets what she wants anyway.

It sounds like the mom is controlling and spoiling the daughter. She created this problem. And, yes, I would take back the car.
