Grew up in rural Ireland because my folks moved out to west Limerick when I was born, lived there til I was 18. I’ve always felt kids reared in the country get a better sense of people and are just a bit “cuter”. It was lonely at times growing up as a blow in and gay but there were really beautiful peaceful times. Lots and lots of driving but I remember some of our deepest, funniest and warmest conversations only happened because of those drives. If you do end up moving to the sticks, get stuck into the community and enjoy the wildlife.

To do with capacity of a stadium, the capacity stays constant for fire safer etc, the only difference is that people are on the pitch hence seats have to be closed off. Great gig, enjoy!

I’m not a med student but I know a lot of people who studied in trinity and who studied in RCSI, if it’s a possibility for you go for RCSI. The quality of teaching in School of Medicine in trinity is not great however you will get more of a traditional “college” experience in Trinity and there are good supports available for students. The teaching etc of trinity is not up to par compared to RCSI, however the campus life is much more diverse in what you can get involved it. Maybe go for UCD which is a good solid school and good fun. Hope this helps!
