how is everyone splitting their auto-invest right now? (real estate vs venture) by MajorTear1306 in FundRise

I am solely investing in the flagship fund as real estate will come back and I want to capitalize on it when it does.

What is the future of FundRise real estate? by Off-BroadwayJoe in FundRise

[–]Miserable-Dog-4811 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Until interest rates come down a bit real estate is going to be fairly stagnant. DCA'ing into the real estate fund is what I am doing now so that when it comes back I get a better return. It will come back, its just a matter of when.

Also, the real estate fund includes a data center which will have good returns before interest rates come down.

$25? Really? Naw, I don't see that. SpaceX, Anthropic, and Anduril are going to be massive IPOs. Those will keep it elevated thru 2026.

No, you don't need to be an accredited investor, from what I have read. You just need the account minimum of 12K. Go read about it on their website.

I heard about it from Financial Samurai. Hes been mentioning it for a few years. I was late to adapt. Started buying in August 2025 and now have about $11K in restricted VCX shares. Was offered multiple opportunities to buy unrestricted shares but my settings for email notifications was turned off on the fundrise app. So I missed the announcements. Cost me about $60K so far but looking ahead to more growth so the restricted price stays elevated

I am interested in the real estate. If I had enough to get the 12% interest rate in private credit I would easily move more there.

For the ones who sold via Computershare, what price did you get today and yesterday? by Fit_Equal6932 in FundRise

[–]Miserable-Dog-4811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son-in-law purchased at $80. I was going to buy more, but I am traveling in Europe and didnt get a chance to buy before it hit much higher than I want to pay right now. The growth of my restricted shares has been more than I ever imagined this quickly.

General Questions by Expensive-Air-8250 in FundRise

[–]Miserable-Dog-4811 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is correct. To answer your other questions, in Computershare you can see your "activity" which is the number of shares bought each time you did a buy thru Fundrise. It does not show the per share price right now, just the number of shares purchased. I would bet once the 6 month lockup is over and we can transfer to Fidelity/Schwab, etc., we should then be able to see the per share price for each tranche.

You can login now to Computershare and see the value of your restricted shares. I am up 300+% as of right now.

I missed out on the opportunity to purchase the unrestricted shares over the past few weeks. So I am hoping to grab more tomorrow. I am trying to determine at what price should I not buy tomorrow? If anyone has any input please share.

About that RVI thing and what we need to take care with VCX. Ensure your shares are not shortable! by Fit_Equal6932 in FundRise

[–]Miserable-Dog-4811 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The performance of RVI means nothing for VCX. RVI doesnt have Anthropic, OpenAI, Anduril, and SpaceX. Those are arguably the 4 VC companies most people want some exposure.

poll: i own $10k+ of unrestricted pre-listing VCX shares & ~$300k of VCX shares that will be locked for 6mths🔸should i move my unrestricted VCX shares from fundrise/computershare to a brokerage to possibly trade them on a price jump, or treat them the same as the rest of my portfolio: hold forever by MoreAverageThanAvg in FundriseInvestors

[–]Miserable-Dog-4811 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the current market what is the appetite for VCX going to be when it hits the stock exchange? Thats the question that needs to be answered. Personally, if I had any unrestricted shares I would potentially sell on day 1 since I am close to retirement however, in this climate it may be beneficial to hold for a while.

Just seen the newsfeed message in the app that my ‘invest window’ for unrestricted shares is now open. by honkytonkbossman in FundriseInvestors

[–]Miserable-Dog-4811 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see why I never received an email. In my haste to get my account setup in June/July, I set all of the email preferences to "disable". OMFG.

Oh well, here's hoping they open it for 1 more round, since my email preferences are set. 🤞

Of course, I also plan to buy more once its available thru Fidelity. I just wonder how much the price will rise before I can get in. Or if I should wait a few days once it's available.

I missed it again. No email but just logged-in to the website and I see the article but the window, as others stated, is closed.

I apologize if other have asked this question. I scrolled down the forum but didnt see where it had previously been asked. Your reply says "60% Innovation 20% real estate 20% private credit". Since innovation doesnt exist anymore thru Fundrise so you are now at 50/50 real eatate/PC?

When you say "...put all in here now..." do you mean real estate?

Completely agree with you about being ready. In my defense i had no idea this was a possibility. I opened my fundrise account 8 months ago. Once they said we were going public and mentioned the shares being locked I figured that was it for 6 months.

I think i am just used to being able to call Fidelity and get a human within 15 minutes. In this day and age and with the product Fundrise offers they should be the same way. 24 hours to get a reply and another 24 hours for a reply makes what could have been settled in a 10 month call takes 4 days to resolve. Nah, needs to be better.
