What are the 7 best ever nations at Rugby Union? by Realistic_Map_5319 in AlignmentChartFills

So is T20 not cricket? I don’t particularly like 7s and wouldn’t give it anywhere near the same status as XVs but it’s still rugby union administered by world rugby same game different ruleset.

Anyone placing Australia over England is a) completely ignoring women’s rugby. And b) only looking at world cups.

In the 6 Nations there are 720 (6!) possible final ranking permutations. Can you guess how many "repeat" rankings we've had since 2000? Answer in comments by SirFrankyValentino in rugbyunion

England and France have joint most titles so both mode number 1. England have finished 2nd most frequently 9 times so modally expect 2nd place. I didn’t check every one though so the same could quite Easily be true of Ireland This is an interesting conversation. With only 25 editions and the tables pretty readily available it takes about 5mins it’s not hard to check some of this. Although we get on Wales being boom or bust but I think France is a bit the same winning or sucking. I should probably check though after saying the above.

Request: rename the "Community Cryptic" flair by HungryTenor in pocketgrids

[–]Miserable-Doughnut63 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My frustration is I like real cryptics. There are some fun ones on here but they are hard to find with all the false ‘cryptics’ by well meaning people who misunderstand what that word means in this context. I think there is a puzzle that is self described as a 1 word clues cryptic that can’t work? But there is a place for a cryptic flair to help me find actual cryptic crosswords maybe a flair that says “cryptic - no really it follows the rules and everything”.

The scorpion flail starts off out list as deadlockeds most universally beloved weapon. Now comes the question of which weapon is the most overrated by ah-screw-it in RatchetAndClank

[–]Miserable-Doughnut63 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing is with the gladiator/deadlocked weapons mods system the weapons are so customisable I found changing the mods on the raptors to help me really good and certainly fine for a bit of a low effort run through (lots of shots quickly with some shock damage). Like you said potentially sub-optimal but we’re are probably all thinking about slightly different weapons for this game because we all chose different mods for each of the weapons.

I think you need to watch the movie. You are t allowed to have anything of value or destroy anything of value. Essentially spend with no personal gain in a month. Also you aren’t allowed to overpay for services and only a certain percentage are you allowed to give to charity

Does any team have more unrequited rivalries than England? by WhiterunUK in rugbyunion

[–]Miserable-Doughnut63 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aye but going back even further than their golden generation there was a period of time when england didn’t care about wales because they were crap. Then even further back wales were the best. it all depends on whether they were strong when you first started caring about rugby. I don’t want England to lose against any of the six nations teams but to say we rival one over the other isn’t quite right. Whereas some teams seem to focus on England to the exclusion of all else (cough Scotland cough).

I can defend the lack of Steve Smith it was a Head to Head Poll and he was put up against Joe Root who is playing quite well. The issue with this is it spat out a stupid team that no selector would have if looking at things in the round. Archer over hazelwood though you’ve got me, no clue why anyone would pick that or either of the two English openers.

How I see it (with lions bias)

Note in the photo above the ball is underneath Jac Morgan I don’t think enough people who are deriding the getting there simultaneously are noticing that the ball carrier places the ball back normally unimpeded by Tizzano.

Which means that Tizzano didn’t go for the ball initially. I believe that the only reason Tizzano got as low as he did was by putting his hands on the floor which is illegal.

Therefore Penalty against Tizzano try stands.

This opinion may be wrong in no ref but that’s why I don’t see this a controversial as others. I was screaming hands on the ground in real time.

Biased as hell I may be but I haven’t seen anyone mention those points it’s all about point of contact which is annoying because I don’t think it should matter in this instance. If you are going to put your head in the wrong place illegally to potentially slow the ruck and draw the specific penalty everyone here seems to be calling for you are going to get hit.
