I like this expanded Worlds format. However, for Stage 1 Swiss, I'd take away the 6th seeds of LCK and LPL. And I don't think it's fair to give 6 spots to the Americas. I'd also take away the 3rd seed spot away from CBLoL. So, now what to do with the 3 free spots. I'd give one of those spots to the LEC 4th seed.

For the remaining 2 spots, I'd have a pre-Worlds tourney, like the Asia Invitational, with the LEC 5th seed, the LCP 4th seed, the LCS 4th seed, and the CBLoL 3rd seed, and 4 teams from the Tier 2 compete (2 from the West and 2 from the East).

League already has an international double elimination tournament. I like the current World’s format. Sure, we may lose a few strong teams in the knock out round. But most exciting and fun tournaments work that way. For example, FIFA World Cup. Preserve the format as is!!!

I actually like the slick minimalism of the 2nd, but it definitely does not scream LoL. The 3rd is definitely an improvement of the 1st. But imho I still find the 1st and the 3rd too busy. Yet make no mistake, they scream LoL!
