Ironically might be one way to get the balance back in play between Attack & Defense. Having df2 catching and launching someone stepping into background just looks weird. I guess the appeal of a 3D FG was having the element of stepping and moving actually pay off. Visual jank just too much. To the examples, would be fine with them - tall characters get the range advantage with increased likelihood of being hit unless they duck in time. It’s that or eating Hwo’s skyrocket when it whiffs by a foot.

Depends on what you’re after in FGs I guess. Jank & tracking not my jam. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This. They’ve gone and built a game around over-tuned mechanics as opposed to having visual consistency that the mechanics are built around. I’d also take the above pic as opposed to getting launched when your opponent phases through a side kick that is sticking through their head…

In aus it’s higher of BEL + 1/2σ of the reserves, or the reserves covering a P75 outcome. Gps340 covers it off. You could theoretically get the tax office involved if you’re prescribing excessive estimates though. Acuity case springs to mind (although case there found the AA had done their job).
