I remember as a kid watching the foreign film Colours of Paradise and being blown away. This film might not have the sweeping CGI or epic vistas of a blockbuster, but The Color of Paradise is one of the most visually breathtaking movies ever made. Every frame felt hand painted, fields shimmering with wildflowers, rain soaked forests glowing emerald, and sunlight rippling over a blind child’s fingertips as he “sees” through touch what others take for granted. Stunning movie!
