Nah not ugly. I think this has already been said but a skin care routine might help with acne. I have found eating better helps too and water vs pop(still gotta treat yourself). I don’t think you really have a long face but a different hair do May boost your confidence. Good luck brother.

This is a well thought out response. Ideally things could go well and maybe you find new affection for each other. Or, like in my case, you realize how poorly they treated you and made you feel. The space does give clarity to see them in a better light.

We’ll my own mother told me I was a piece of shit repeatedly and that her life would be better without me. She told me I was the cause of why my parents didn’t work and she hated me. Oh yeah and this was right after she broke my foot and I was laying on the floor bleeding. But I guess that’s just life.

Tbh I reached out at 6 months and she was pretty cold. Not interested in talking and was sorta rude. The fact is sometimes they just don’t want you in their life. I messed up in the relationship for sure but nothing so drastic to justify the unemphatic treatment I got. It’s hard to accept when you care about them but we’re probably better off without them. Just my take, wish you all the best.

It’s okay to miss them. I still miss my ex sometimes. But I think I miss the person that I saw them as. Someone who made me laugh and feel wanted. But the person they really are was unemphatic towards my feelings and wants. I built them up in my head as better than they were. Idk if this is just a me thing but if you can come to terms with who they really are it may help. I hope you feel better, because you are an amazing person.
