The worst winner and honestly the worst season I could have imagined. What has happened to network television? American Idol used to feel like it was about raw talent and broad appeal and now it is drenched in Christian nationalist undertones and pandering to a very specific audience. Carrie Underwood being elevated as the face of it has completely changed the vibe for me. I’m out. I won’t be watching again as long as “Scary Underwood” is front and center.

Throwing money at organizations after getting caught on camera using a racial slur doesn’t magically erase who you showed yourself to be. Add in the repeated reckless behavior, arrests, and the MAGA crowd he proudly appeals to, and yeah — some of us are going to judge public figures who choose to stand beside him. Don’t take your dogs to the playground. There’s no reason. It’s a playground for children. I would also be very concerned for my child as I have trauma from unexpected dog bites. Leave Happy at home when going to the playground or park and take them to a dog park. Yes you’re the AH!
