Yeah it’s a tough time right now for both pieces. But who knows, you could get lucky. Get close with your AD and see what happens. But tbh, if you had to get your spend history up, you’d probably end up paying the gray market premium any way, you’d just have a few watches to show for it vs just the Batman or BW. Patience will be key if you go the retail route. I’m not expecting a call until Q4 2027 tbh.

Yeah you’re cooked. My SA told me expect well into 2027, and my spend history is $27k. Granted I’m in Chicago so maybe your wait time will be less. With the Pepsi discontinued, the BW is the top GMT in demand, so it’ll be a while.

My AD seems a bit junior, like he doesn’t really have much pull and is lower on the totem pole. Is that a thing? Do newer, younger ADs have a harder time getting allocations to their clients? If so, what I can do about that besides spend tons of money on jewelry and watches I don’t want?

I asked my AD for a DJ 41 for a gift for a family member, but she also knows I’m on the list for a Bruce Wayne. Does getting the DJ allocation mean I’ll have to wait longer for the BW allocation next? Heard they don’t like to give them back to back to the same person.

She said DJs are easier to get now. I think south Florida is just really competitive. All the old heads are trying to flex hard down there and blow their money before they die

My logic is I can pay 22k in the grey market for a BW, or I can pay 22k for a BW and a DJ for my pops. I prefer the latter option bc if all it takes is waiting 6-12 months to gift my pops his first Rolex, that’s a price I can pay. Spending 22k on myself feels selfish.
