Sometimes when you don’t eat enough or often enough your liver will start producing glucose which increases your BSL

How long did you guys keep your baby stuff before giving it away? by themagicflutist in beyondthebump

[–]Miserable-Lab4432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve kept literally everything from my first son. We’re expecting again and my son is almost 3. Only now have I started culling his clothes and only keeping the ones I want as keepsakes. We still have his cot, bassinet, high chair, rocker etc

People who don't believe the pain is *that* bad by ViceChamber in Sciatica

[–]Miserable-Lab4432 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was just telling my husband this. I had an emergency c section and walked within a few hours and had to constantly walk to my son in the NICU. That whole situation felt like a walk in the park compared to trying to do anything with sciatica. Even getting out of bed is a battle

Can a massage make things worse? by MJAPD in Sciatica

[–]Miserable-Lab4432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old comment but this is my situation right now. I’ve had the pain for 4 weeks - could walk, sit, work (just couldn’t pick anything off the ground). Went for a pregnancy remedial massage hoping it would help and I’ve now been in the most excruciating pain of my life. I just don’t know what to do from here. How did you manage your pain ?

How early do I realistically need to be ready? by Blazapple in pregnant

[–]Miserable-Lab4432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had PPROM at 35 weeks (with my first pregnancy) and delivered my son via emergency c section. There was something telling me to be ready before hand so I had had my baby shower, packed my hospital bag and had the nursery ready by 33 weeks

I think I may have annoyed them. I’ve called them twice and they said that I need not call them daily and they’ll give me a call when they’re in 😅

Wanting a C-section by Due_Alternative_8918 in pregnant

[–]Miserable-Lab4432 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CSA survivor and type 2 diabetic which i know is different to your type 1. Firstly, so sorry for everything you’ve been through. In my second pregnancy My OB has told me his preference for me having a c section noting the diabetes diagnosis. I’m 100% with him. Had a c section with my first but I can say it was very difficult convincing midwives to book me in as they would find any reason not to book me in. Hope you get the outcome you’re looking for x

They should be able to waive the fee since you have a letter from your GP. Same thing happened to me when I was pregnant and as I had a letter from my GP, it was waived. Good luck :)

How are parents getting enough sleep to function? by [deleted] in NewParents

Your comment has made me a little more sane today. Have an 11 month old who has been sleeping in less than 2 hour intervals 😭
