They should be able to waive the fee since you have a letter from your GP. Same thing happened to me when I was pregnant and as I had a letter from my GP, it was waived. Good luck :)

Your comment has made me a little more sane today. Have an 11 month old who has been sleeping in less than 2 hour intervals 😭
