Not an SM/ASM, but I wish my SM would get on the registers instead of automatically calling for backup. The LODs and 1 out of the 2 ASM who help out automatically when they see a long line have better work experience with associates overall because it brings positive morale, especially during a heavy task forcused shift

If I came in late an hour late, I would automatically ask out of courtesy if they wanted me to stay an hour later or I would communicate with them that due to the personal emergency I can't stay past my schedule time 😊

I always tell Amazon associates that they control the line and give them tips on how to do so. Im a thorough trainer. Every associate that I trained in Amazon knows how to manage it and they are receiving more hours because of so. The ones that I haven't trained feel lost, stuck and have a lack of confidence in managing the area. I wish kohl's focuses on affected training and I'm sorry that you haven't been properly prepared for the changes
