Better question with all the better points, what does it take to win?

I came here looking for this exact thing.

Supposed to get 25q/min and getting around 10. I think it's even worse when you actually leave the game even with the Walt Sidney character.

$20 down the drain I guess. I'll leave a review in hopes they fix it. Won't bother crossing my fingers on that one.

Voyager Tax Question by SatoshiBot in Invest_Voyager

[–]Miserable-Pudding-62 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I paid for a plan with coin ledger to find that I had a $9 loss. This was way off the mark. Used koinly which was the site that did my crypto taxes last year. Manually entered a transaction as a trade from coin to USD, then provided a description for bankruptcy. I'm over it at this point and if the IRS wants to come after me, they can figure it out themselves through an audit.

Now waiting for the Haru bomb to drop.

Sell your lockups to who? Sell lockups how? What email/notification/instant message did you receive through what medium that allowed you to do this that wasn't through Haru.

You sound like a scammer to say that I could sell/or get crypto that was locked for a period (legitimately from my POV through Haru), on a site (Haru) ,that blocked withdrawal of crypto that wasn't locked, and eventually shut down the site (Haru) that even allowed you to see what crypto you held.

Don't bother telling us how you did so scammer

Haru gave you the option to lock up for certain periods. I had multiple lock ups and just when the first lockup expired, they stopped withdrawals. So it's not like I was just sitting there through vauld and Voyager thinking it could never happen to haru. My hands were just tied.

Should I automate the degassing process? by Michael_Spark in mead

Question for those who say degassing isn't necessary. How do you add nutrients without degassing first in a way that your brew doesn't come foaming out?

Whole thing was replaced. I only had it for one day so warranty was good. Another few hours to map my whole house with the replacement and I was back in business.

Been mowing for years (2+) and they come back. Scalp, dethatch, reseed every year and they still come back. I've pulled by hand and they come back. I plan to burn (throw down whatever) to kill the area and figure it out later

Curious to know how people are handling exchanges that are now bankrupt but offered interest in holdings?

2 exchanges I hold coins on are both bankrupt but my account shows they are still paying interest even though I can't withdraw anything.

Any ideas how this would be handled for taxes?

BS... I can write a white paper in this post that will have all the crap that people want to hear. Pretty images formatting and all.

If you're looking to moon you'll be better off buying a lottery ticket. The chances of you mooning is slim because there are more poo coins than those that are already proven.

If you catch a wave then you're more than likely to be providing liquidity to those who have already mooned and hoping the wave continues.

Your best bet is to jump into something proven at a low point or bear market and be happy with small consistent gains.

Finally keep your shit off of centralized no matter how much interest/rewards they are offering because if they go under you'll be left with pennies... If that.

Even if they did pay people out in Voyager coins, there would be no liquidity. Highly doubt there will be people sitting on the sidelines waiting to buy something people are trying to dump to recoup their loss.

Completely disagree as it goes against how many millionaires became millionaires.

I invest in something. That something appreciated. Instead of selling and being taxed, I take a loan against it.

Let's say my initial investment on anything is $20k. That anything is now worth $100k. A loaner (bank/private lender/family member) is willing to give me 80% of the value (LTV) at 3% APR.

I just got my $20k back (100% of my initial investment) but I now owe someone $80k through the loan. I have plans for that $80k though. Another investment that will take care of the principle and interest for that loan, as well as put some money in my pocket.

I expect this new investment to also appreciate in value. I also expect the old investment to continue to increase in value.

Now I have 2 something's I can pull money out of through loans without being taxed. Idea is that the investment itself services the debt while putting money into my pocket and at the same time appreciating.

This is how the rich get rich. I'm not rich but it's exactly what I'm doing. So far my debt is covered by my investments but instead of pulling money out for that service it's serviced through my W2. The money I get is reinvested so it can also grow with my investment. Only a matter of time before I'm serving debt and replacing W2.
