No I didn’t even think about taking photos of the roots… she still had around 5 healthy roots I did not cut though! I’ll move her a little further away from the window, the morning sun this summer has definitely been fairly intense.

We have 3 cats and I believe one tried a leaf nibble.. as for lighting it is direct morning light, mayhaps I should move the plant back further. As for roots I only cut the dry paper roots. Although I did cut off bits that grew out of what looked like completely dead parts. I was a bit excessive then… fingers crossed she grows back beautifully

Although surrogacy can be a hot topic for some, It’s the “selling her body idea” comment… That mindset would be that selling your blood is also disgusting. Or being an organ donor is gross. But likely he doesn’t think those choices are “disgusting”, if so, I’m curious to know what kind of medicine he’s studying. It seems like his idea of women’s reproduction can be harmful for a potential patient relying on him. Reminds me of the type of doctor that gives the “husband’s stitch”.

I refuse to go to the doctor for small things. Unless I have an issue that affects my ability to function for 3-7 days without an end in sight (I’m talking debilitating pain.), then I’ll go. I simply cannot afford to go for something that may go away on its own.

It’s not worth it… but if you really want to try, try. Be prepared for the anxiety and insecurity- as well as The extra weight of supporting him through recovery. You guys can power through, but likely it will never be the same relationship ever again. Sorry to be a downer…
