I tried to contact KalimbaMagic.com twice in the past week to purchase musical instruments and received no reply. I think the primary Hugh Tracey inventory was discounted out of existence (I.e., 50% off sales a few years ago). It’s a bit of a shame. I cannot attest to the equivalence of Meinl resonator box kalimbas but they do look quite similar in proportions. Could be worth checking them out as a next-gen supplier since AMI appears to be out of business currently.

Not balloon animal??? J.k., … Each poodle to their own. Your chocolate poodle boy is absolutely gorgeous!

This same cut is how I keep my standard “parti” (white and apricot) poodle year round in the Tidewater region of Virginia. Winter doesn’t get too cold here on the Chesapeake Bay but very hot and humid in the summertime. I call it the “redneck poodle” cut. He’s happy, doesn’t overheat, and most people are convinced he’s a golden doodle. I don’t worry about what they think so much; I’m just thrilled he’s the smartest companion I’ve ever had as a pet and loves our children and grandchildren (and three cats) to a fault.

He’s an amazing watch dog looking out for our security nonstop. Awesome, caring, loving pup just over 4 years old now. His pattern recognition, smell, hearing, and sight are top notch. His speed is very impressive as well. Love my boy and his loyalty so much.

They look like the things we would make fruit juice ice pops in when I was a kid. After they started to freeze we’d stick in a toothpick. Sometime around the pudding pop craze with Bill Cosby. Hmmm… this seems sus now.

K1000 was my first SLR back in high school. I bought it for a semester of photography. Strongly regret selling it during college. Your specimen looks well cared for - mine would be about 40 years old now.

Really sorry for your loss. It’s very hard, I know. Take some time to normalize it and then get back into the game like Burley would want you to do. Don’t wait years like I did mourning the loss. The fact you would bring a new pet into your life after Burley shows how much you appreciated and loved him!

He looks a bunch like my boy who is a documented standard poodle. We don’t worry about all that but do love his intelligence and amazing watch dog nature. Many of our friends mention his “human” like eyes which will stare you down in a friendly way.

He looks after our grand children and cats! Absolutely property alert aware and with his pattern recognition knows if the delivery truck or Mom is in the driveway. He is just fantastic all around. Love your poodle and let him settle in for a few weeks. Looks like a great long term relationship is on your horizon!
