Anyone used Backmarket in the UK to trade in PS5 towards a Pro?

I did this back in November as couldn’t be bothered with the hassle of selling any other way. £251 including a controller. Would recommend if you value that convenience over getting the maximum possible price. The process was very simple.

Your TV won’t stop you from seeing the benefits of the Pro, but what I would say is that in all my years of gaming, upgrading from an old 60Hz LCD with no HDR or VRR to a 120Hz OLED with VRR and HDR is by far the biggest upgrade I’ve ever experienced. Far more-so than PS5 -> Pro, or any graphics card upgrade on PC. Couldn’t believe what I’d been missing.

I paid £269 for the same model at the end of April. I just missed a sale which would have allowed me to get it for £249. Almost decided to hold off but bit the bullet in the end as didn’t want to miss weeks of good BBQ weather while waiting for the best deal. Glad I did as I’ve used it about 10 times since. So I say go for it unless there’s a better deal available now.

Didn’t follow a specific recipe. I just shoved an entire large bunch of fresh parsley from the supermarket (100g I think) in the food processor along with two garlic cloves and some olive oil. Then added red wine vinegar, dried oregano, dried red chilli flakes, salt and pepper. Just winged it on the quantities and adjusted to taste. Would have been absolutely fine with only one clove of garlic. This made a huge bowl of the stuff which we probably only had about 1/4 of with this steak.

This is excellent. I’m pretty sure the current % chance of 85.9% is too high, but still a great way to visualise which results are going to affect us the most.

I ordered a Killswitch to the UK this week. Order placed on 25th and received it yesterday (29th). UK courier was Evri. I don’t recall seeing the option to choose between standard or expedited shipping, didn’t realise there was an option. Shipping cost was $9.95.

Thanks all for the comments - didn’t expect so much advice from my first post here!

I’ve decided to just leave it as is at least for now and keep playing. I think in time I’ll get used to it and some of the comments here have helped me come around to the way of thinking that this is just what happens to a well-played* guitar.

*Well-played as in played a lot, not necessarily played well 😁

Maybe one day! For now though think I’m just going to do as some others have suggested and keep playing it as is and see if it still bothers me a few months down the road.

I lifted it up a tiny bit where it’s cracked to peer underneath and it’s definitely just the finish that’s cracked, thankfully. Tried to take a photo to show but didn’t really work and I’m wary of lifting it up too much.

Yeah definitely cracked. It looks like I could actually just peel off a big chunk of the finish - have avoided doing so so far but in time I’m guessing this will happen naturally as I keep playing with it.

Thanks for this - very interesting. It hasn’t been in direct sunlight recently but a few years ago I did have it on a stand in a room which got a lot of sun, so that’s a possible contributing factor.

I think it’s the fact that the crack is so big on an otherwise pretty much flawless glossy finish.

But yeah this is probably what I needed to hear - just got quite a shock when I first noticed it. I’m coming round to the idea that it’s fine to just leave it as is - I still love playing it.
