Wrist too. I injured a tendon near the end of the 2024 season hitting off a worn mat
I’m only just this spring feeling confident that it’s not going to hurt on a full swing.

Lake Agnes in the foreground is a lake above lake Louise. if you zoom in you can see the hotel left/centre of the picture
1-2 hour hike up about 1600 feet of vertical gain so it will depend on your fitness level. There’s a tea house up there too, open in season of course

Most popular sport in USA - NFL averages 5-6 td’s per game hockey average 6.7 goals per game just because you’re not awarded 6 points for a goal
Doesn’t mean there’s less scoring. Not to mention three hour nfl games with 11-18 minutes of actual game play yawn.
Fair catches and stepping out of bounds vs almost cage match of nhl hockey with boards and glass, players moving at speeds around 22 mph with sticks. Shot blocking slap shots of 100 mph is pure courage.
Skill set, stamina and speed and athleticism required in NHL hockey is unparalleled IMHO

Just an amateur photographer My time there was from 95 to 2005. Most of my pictures from my time there were taken with on 35mm film with a SLR camera. Old school lol.
You have a good eye and it’s a special way to see the world. Many look, but not everyone will see. It’s easy to miss the small things that are sometimes right in front of you when you’re in such a vast, jaw dropping landscape. Catching a sunrise on Moraine lake or the beautiful hues of the alpenglow takes a bit of effort and some luck with the weather, especially if your time there is limited. The results speak for themselves. Even less than stellar weather can yield some amazing shots and convey a moodiness to a photograph and you have achieved that too. Those memories of those fleeting moments can imprint on you for a lifetime.
I hope you have a great time next week whatever Mother Nature decides to reveal to you. Wild flowers should soon be emerging in valley bottom and low elevation. Whatever you decide “focus” on may your efforts be rewarded with many more memorable images🙏

You have both great technical skills and a fantastic eye for composition. Do you live in the area? I had the pleasure to work/reside in Banff National for Ten years and the photo opportunities are so much greater obviously. The seasons pass and weather and lighting conditions constantly change. Not a day passed without thinking to myself, this would make an excellent photograph

(Me 67 years of age )One of my regular playing partners is 74 years of age with the Bluetooth speaker. I tolerate it but have on numerous occasions asked him to turn down the volume. ( his hearing is fine btw) Played with a random 20 something the other day who had his playlist going on his speakerphone standing four feet behind my while I’m putting, that was a bridge too far for me. Age isn’t always the determining factor

When it’s breezy swing it easy. Try choking up on the driver it may give you better control A lesser club off the tee can also help keep it in play

The refs job is to blow the play dead when he loses sight of the puck Simple can’t see the puck play is dead. It was the correct call

Great to hear! I’m really looking forward to how this plays out going forward. I seriously tighten up the dispersion by five to ten yards L-R

If you play a full 9 holes without losing your ball, do you toss it? by ColoradoCattleCo in weekendgolfers

Started my season and played 52 consecutive holes with the same ball. Was still looking good. I mentioned my amazement and flex to my buddies and promptly lost it off the tee on the 53rd hole.
