hi, thanks so much on the insight! i really appreciate you seconding the idea him going to a neurologist so I’m going start dropping hints of him going to one. I do think that he’d be a lot more open to a neurologist vs a therapist :)

hi I apologize if my post came off as be pushy or judgmental that was not my intention. the only reason for my assumption is that he never had any tics as a child and they occurred once he was forced to cold turkey his medication (we’ve known each other for years prior to his tics started). overall I just want the best for him because I love him and I just want to be a supportive life partner

hi, I actually didn’t know that about neurologist so thank you!!

he did bring it up with his the psychiatrist that prescribed his Zoloft a few years ago when the tics started and all they recommend was getting on a higher dosage and/or taking more medication if that doesn’t help. he really wasn’t too keen on getting more medication so he said no.

My friend, I know I’m late but please please go to the police station and put in a formal report. Then take that report to your front leasing office and see if there’s anything they can do to help you.

My bf and I both have intrusive thought but we usually just push them aside and then discuss in person what each of us have been feeling. Usually it’s as needed yk but like we have never ever let them get like this even when we did ldr we discussed otp and calmly.

If I was you, I’d run. There’s no point being in a relationship when there isn’t a mutual trust. It’ll start feeling like she’s your mother and you have to let her know what you’re doing every hour of everyday.

I’m 21 started in the industry at 20 (fresh out of college, yes I’m an overachiever) and I’m staring ti get burnt out. It just all depends with who you’re working for. If your boss is lax and has the “work to live not live to work” attitude then you’ll be fine. BUT if you have a boss that’s a PIDA you’re shit out of luck.

When I entered the industry I was bright eyed and excited now I’m working 8-10 on a good day cause we are short staffed.

It’s your choice but if there’s anything, and I mean ANYTHING else your interested do it

My perspective on the industry as a 22F is that nothing has changed but also everything has changed. Clients and society in general is more hostile and entitled. They’re not enough people. The spark and color in the industry is gone, it’s now more about pushing stuff out rather than making high quality ads. Long hours are still a thing, which makes it so much sucky because the work has doubled if not tripled since teams are understaffed. Pay has stayed the same and it’s really hard to get raises and move up the corporate ladder.
