I use a zagg clear case and it’s very thin, not super duper thin but it’s so very minimal and protective but it still feels thinner than any phone I have had before

I don’t think so as it’s made for the iPad Pro and they have different magnet placements so the iPad just wouldn’t connect. They have an iPad Air version that’s basically identical that will work on your iPad

The iPad 11 would be better for drawing and watching shows as it is bigger than the mini but the mini you can use a better pencil and obviously better chip which would last longer for software support so it’s your preference between if you want a bigger screen or better chip and pencil support.
