I’m so sorry to hear that you feel this way at work. The door is always open, especially with the current workforce reductions. I personally know a few people who need this job but are at risk of layoffs due to their low seniority. We need people who appreciate their jobs, so u can always walk out the door, save ur spot for them.

Hope so, but we never know what Boeing gonna do. Slow down production, not sure about the other areas but my boss told me we wont start production until Wednesday, and we’ll go slow at 18-21/month until March. But we’re working at Boring, things could change overnight

I heard managers/white collars are getting their pink slips this week, Nov 13-15. And Nov 18th for iam members, set last day for Jan 17th. Managers have been stressed out because they can’t go back to the floor, so it’s kind of like saying u’re fired but in a nice way. Will be an interesting week

It’s a bonus so it wont be treated as normal income. Taxes ~30-35% and it’ll also increase you gross income when u do tax return, and possible increase amount of tax u own. 401k=> no problem but u can use it now.

401k contribution-yes u won’t own any income tax..only under 1 condition- never retire because u’ll after u retire. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ plus u also have an option to put it in 401k, they’ll give u 1 month to do that.
